  • I lost my library book. How do I pay a library fine?

Pay by cash or check (payable to BCMS). You will receive weekly overdue notices via email that contain the amount due if the book is lost.

You can also bring in canned goods and the fine will be deleted from your account. Canned goods will be donated during our yearly food drive.

  • How many books can I checkout at a time?

You can checkout 10 books for 3 weeks. You can renew books three times.

  • How do I use the online library catalog?

  • How often will my student visit the library?

All students will visit the library every other week with their ELA class. In addition, other subject areas may book the library for lessons from time to time. Students can also use the library before school each day from 8:20-8:45 to study, visit, or play games.

  • Do you have a book club for students?

Yes! We will have two library clubs this year. 

Book Club will read any or all of this year's Lone Star books, linked here. Students will meet weekly on Monday during Raider Time and must get a pass before school.

Friends of the Library will help with projects, displays, outreach, and shelving. Friends of the Library will meet weekly on Wednesday, and students must get a pass before school.

Yes. Digital reading resources are available through the Sora app on LT1.
